Mais um treino maravilha com o Pedrito! Novo percurso, directo à praia e que bem que sabe: um pouco de chuva, mar, nascer do sol e muita Amizade! Hoje o treino ficou pela metade. Uma pequena lesão do Pedro não permitiu que continuássemos a correr para lá dos 5km. Regressámos a caminhar e foi bom na mesma :) Hoje a camisola foi da última prova que fiz na margem sul: São Silvestre de Corroios de 2019, iniciativa da’A Natureza ensina. Há 10 anos atrás comecei a ultrapassar a distância habitual dos meus treinos e provas, que era de 10k. Com os 4@fundo, passei para os 15 e passadas poucas semanas estava a fazer a primeira meia maratona, sem saber muito bem ao que ia. Da meia à maratona foram cerca de 8 meses, com todos os erros de preparação que podia cometer. A maratona de Valencia de 2011 foi a primeira e é algo que não vou esquecer! Passados poucos dias, fiz uma lista com as provas que gostaria de fazer no futuro. A lista terminava em 2021 com o desejo de fazer a Comrades, a ultra maratona mais antiga do mundo, no ano do seu centenário. No ano passado, fiz Half Comrades virtual e este ano fiquei-me pela meia maratona, regressando às origens 10 anos depois. Hoje chegou a medalha! 40@ Corrida do Tejo: prova superada! UAU! Era para estar no Porto a fazer a meia maratona mas a saúde da família não permitiu escapadelas. Ainda assim, nada melhor do que “correr em casa” e revisitar uma das nossas provas mais antigas e bonitas! Não fazia a Corrida do Tejo desde 2016 e lá recuperei o velho hábito de sair a correr de casa, meter 5k de aquecimento, prova e regressar a correr até casa. Excelente ambiente e organização, percurso ligeiramente renovado e surpreendido pelo ritmo que consegui empreender. Continuo muito longe da melhor forma mas já foram menos 2’ face à semana passada e sempre em progressão :) Bom no retorno ver a alegria de tanta gente a conseguir superar-se! Abraço para o Rui Avelãs, a quem não pude cumprimentar antes do início da prova, por ter chegado no limite da partida.
